Jessica Fulton is a proud palawa daughter to a strong palawa mother, both born and raised in nipaluna, lutruwita. Mother of two strong palawa girls aged 14 and 10, her bloodline comes from Fanny Cochrane Smith. Jessica has a strong passion for being out on country, practicing culture while being guided on this journey with her elders, family and community. She began her passion for practicing culture in her teens and was privileged to have the late Aunty Leonie Dickson by her side, along with her sister Aunty Verna Nichols, who continues to make sure Leonie’s wishes are kept for me to continue this journey on for Jessica and her daughters. Of later, Jessica have also had the privileged to learn and be guided by Jeanette James, I truly feel so blessed to have such strong passionate Aboriginal women to learn from.
